MAN ON A MISSION WITH A VISION FOR A GENERATION
1964: Born to Rev. (Dr.) D.U. Akporero (popular T.V. Oral English Teacher) and Deaconess Florence Akporero both from Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State. Place of Birth: Western Boys High School, Oregbeni, Benin City.
 
1974: He Led the Agbado Primary School:s Cultural Dance Group , Benin City, to welcome President Eyadena of Togo to Nigeria. He had a handshske, and since then he has not looked back.
 
 
1974: Featured for the first time as an actor on Children's Time, an NTA Benin Programme.
 
1976: He emerged Bendel State under-12 Lawn Tennis Champion.
 
1978: He won the State Technical School Boxing Championship (light-fly weight category) held at Benin Technical College, Ugbowo, Benin-City.
 
1979: He won a Silver Medal in Boxing (Light Fly-Weight category), during the Bendel State Sports held at Ogbe Stadium, Benin City.
 
 
1980: He won the Bendel State under-16 Table Tennis Championship held at Oba Akenzua Cultural Centre, Benin City.
 
1981: He Captained Bendel State Table Tennis Team to National Technical School Games held in Port Harcourt, tagged PABOD '81. The Team won three gold and two bronze medals.
 
1981: He was admitted into the University of Jos to read Mathematics. His English and Economics were cancelled when the School Certificate resault was released and he was asked to withdraw.
 
1982: He represented Plateau State during the Star Cups Table Tennis Championship held at Rowe Park, Lagos.
1983: He won his first election at Aba. He contested and won the Presidency of Science Club, Federal School of Arts and Science, Aba, Abia State.
1983: He was appointed Director of Games and he participated in FEDSAS games held in Ondo, winning a Gold Medal in singles and a Bronze Medal in the Mixed Doubles in the Table Tennis event.
1984: He was admitted into the University of Ibadan to read Petroleum Engineering. He wrote JAMB again to read his dream course: Architecture.
1984: He was elected Hall Representative, Kuti Hall, University of Ibadan.
1984: He won Alexandra's Hall Tennis Championship, University of Ibadan.
1985: He was admitted into the University of Nigeria to read Architecture.
1985: Starred in "Beyond the Realms", a popular TV soap opera, aired on A nambra State Television, Enugu.
1985: He emerged University of Nigeria Table Tennis Champion and remained undefeated between 1985-1991. He featured in three NUGA games: U.I. '86 ; UNIPORT '88; UNICAL '90.
1986: He was elected Vice-President, Dept of Architecture, University of Nigeria.
1986: He was appointed Secretary, University Theatre Group, UNEC.
1986: He captained the UNN Table Tennis Team to capture the Anambra State Table Tennis Club Championship Cup.
1987: He contested and won his first Union Election as Director of Games, Student Union Government, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus.
1987: He made headlines in Daily Star captioned: "As Mini-Sports Begins Today, Akporero Insists UNN can still Land Title"
1988: Contested and lost the Presidency of the Students Union Government in UNEC.
1988: Elected President, National Association Of Bendel State Students, UNEC Chapter.
1989: Bagged a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture.
1989: Captained Anambra State Table Tennis Team to National Festival, Lagos.
1990: Elected President, Architecture Students Association, UNEC.
1991: Bagged a Masters of Science Degree in Architecture.
1992: Married his heart throb, Eucharia Ngozi Akporero.
1992: He was posted to Osun State for his National Youth Service progrmme.
1992: Appointed Drama Coordinator, Osun State NYSC Drama Group.
1992: He had his first child, Jennifer Akporero as a Youth Corper, serving in Osogbo, Osun State.
1993: He was awarded the prestigious NYSC Honours Award for excellence, dynamism and creativity.
1993: He was employed at BZB NigeriaLtd, Port Harcourt, as project manager.
1994: He had his second child, James Akporero Junior.
1995: He set up his private company, Akporero Nigeria Ltd.
1997: He was admitted to read law in Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Rivers State, after writing ordinary GCE (five papers) in the Arts and passing JAMB.
1997: He had his third child, David Akporero.
1997: Elected Chief Whip, Law Students Association, Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Nkpolu, Port Harcourt.
1998: Elected President, National Association of DeltaStudents (NADESSTU) RSUST Chapter.
1999: Elected President, Theatre Colleagues, RSUST.
1999: Appointed Editor-in-Chief, Campus Intelligence Magazine, RSUST.
1999: He was elected Secretary, Non-Rivers in PDP, Rivers State (NORIP).
2000: Won the Presidency of the Law Students Association (LAWSAN), Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt. Ho was the first non-indigene to win LAWSAN presidency in the faculty's twenty years of existence.
2001: He declared publicly at Ozoro, Delta State, his intention to run for the House of Representatives. Bagged a Bachelors of Law, Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt.
2002: He was admitted into the Nigerian Law School, Abuja.
2003: He was called to the Bar having obtained a Barrister-at-Law Certificate.
2003: He contested and lost the House of Representatives seat in Isoko Federal Costituency of Delta State.
2003: He accompanied the victor, Hon Leo Ogor to the National Assembly as his Senior Lislative Aide and served him for six months without reservations.
2003: Pioneered the formation of Legislative Aides Forum in the National Assembly, Abuja.
2004: Started Law practice with a great legal mind, E.C. Ukala (SAN) at Port Harcourt.
2004: Established Akporero Foundation with a vision to helping the less priviledged in our society.
2005: Appointed Political Aid to the former Speaker, Rt. Hon. (barr.) Young Daniel Igbrude, Delta State House of Assembly.
2006: Appointed Personal Assistant to Deputy National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Dr. Steve Oru.
2007: Appointed Head, Corporate Affairs, Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (DESOPADEC).
2007: Appointed Editor-in-Chief, DESOPADEC Magazine.
2007: Established Akporero Cyber World, a world class ultra modern 60 computer Cyber Cafe and Training School in Ozoro. The aim is to create an avenue for intellectual development. The Warri, Oleh, Patani, Bomadi, Oghara centres are in different stages of completion.
2008: Established WorldTime Communications Limited, a world class Printing and Publishing Company with State of the Art print reproduction equipment, at Warri, Delta State.
2008: Admitted into the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Benin.
2008: Elected President, MBA Students' Association, Uniben..........
